Gold Dark Blue Chronograph

Navy is the colour watchmaking reserves for a chronograph that has to work at the office and still look like it belongs at the circuit.

Three counters, one deep blue.

Fine horizontal striping runs across the dark blue dial, and the three chronograph counters sit recessed into it, so the striping is never broken. Blue is the one dark dial that still carries colour — it lets the gold hour markers read warm, the white lume read cool, and the date aperture stand out without shouting.

The cushion case.

Forty-two millimetres, softened at the corners, with a rounded bezel set into a cushion-shaped case in gold-finish steel. The bracelet flows straight from it with no lugs, and the two pushers stand off the crown as the only interruption to the profile. Ten millimetres thick — for a chronograph, that is the whole argument.
