Gold Champagne Chronograph

A chronograph is a watch that has agreed to be interrupted. The measure of one is how composed it stays while it counts.

Three counters. One surface.

The champagne dial is crossed by fine horizontal striping, and the three chronograph counters sit into it rather than on top of it — recessed, so the striping runs unbroken between them. Applied baton hour markers and a date aperture complete a layout that carries a great deal of information and never looks busy.

The cushion case.

Forty-two millimetres, softened at the corners, with a rounded bezel set into a cushion-shaped case. The bracelet flows straight from it with no lugs, and the two pushers stand off the crown as the only interruption to the profile. Ten millimetres thick — for a chronograph, that is the whole argument.
