Titanium Green

Titanium does not shine, and does not try to. It is the metal of instruments — chosen for what it does, not for how it looks doing it.

Built to be read, not admired.

A deep green sunray dial with luminous Arabic numerals in the same family — tone on tone, which is how a field watch stays discreet in daylight and still reads in the dark. A printed 24-hour scale sits inside the hour ring, the minute track and its luminous dots run the outer edge, and the date sits in a clean aperture at three o'clock. Polished hands catch what little light there is. Nothing decorates; everything is there to be read in a glance.

Forty-four millimetres that weigh less than they look.

Case and bracelet in brushed titanium — close to half the weight of steel, with a matte, cool finish that ignores scratches and fingerprints alike. Twelve millimetres deep, a fluted crown that can be worked with gloves on, a screw-down caseback, and a folding clasp with push-button release. It is built the way an instrument is built: to be worn hard and looked at rarely.
