Gold Dark Blue

At the centre, depth.

The dark blue dial carries an interlaced carbon-fibre pattern that answers the light differently at every angle — from near-black to a deep, open navy as the wrist turns. It never sits flat, and it never turns to mirror. Against it, the applied gold hour markers and the Cyclops lens over the date have all the contrast they need.

The fluted bezel.

Every flute on the bezel catches the light at a different angle, setting up an alternating rhythm of brilliance and shadow around the case. It is what gives forty millimetres of gold a defined edge — and what frames the blue instead of competing with it.

Built to outlast the occasion.

Case and bracelet in stainless steel with a yellow gold finish, the crown screwed down against the case, sapphire crystal over the dial. The articulated link bracelet closes on a folding clasp and follows the wrist rather than resisting it. Nothing here was chosen to impress on the first day — everything was chosen to still be right on the thousandth.
