Gold Silver

A silvered dial in a gold case is the pairing seen most often and considered least. More often than not, it is an accident of supply.

The one cool note.

The silvered sunburst is the only cool surface on an otherwise warm watch — and it is what gives the gold its measure. Without that contrast the case would read as a solid mass; with it, every element of the dial gains an edge.

One piece, from bezel to clasp.

The faceted octagonal bezel carries the lines of the case outward, and the bracelet flows from it with no lugs and no visible transition. Each facet returns the light at its own angle — which is what keeps eight millimetres of gold from reading as a solid mass.
