Automatic Titanium Black

Most watches keep their workings out of sight. This one is built on the opposite conviction.

Black-finished bridges recede and let the movement show through in gunmetal grey behind them — two depths on a single dial. Darkening the bridges is the boldest decision in a skeleton: with no colour contrast, everything rests on relief and light.

Titanium, not steel.

Forty-one millimetres across and twelve deep, in a metal that weighs close to half of steel. Titanium's cool matte finish has no interest in shine — and that is precisely what leaves the open-worked dial as the one point of attention on the piece.
